The section of the Alpe-Adria Ciclovia from Tarvisio to Grado is our route.

We start from Camporosso In Valcanale, near Tarvisio, and descend the Canal del Ferro through valleys flanked by the peaks of the Julian and Carnic Alps, and skirting the Fella and Tagliamento rivers we glide between the Moraine Hills toward the Friuli Plain reaching the Grado Lagoon on the Adriatic Sea.

Built in part on decommissioned railways, it crosses the entire Friuli Venezia Giulia region from north to south, offering a vast and rapidly changing array of natural, urban, cultural, and evocative landscapes. As well as locations crossed are of great attraction, historical and architectural importance, such as Venzone, Udine, Palmanova, Aquileia and also characteristic villages of medieval origin such as Malborghetto, Colloredo di Monte Albano, Fontanabona and Strassoldo.

From there on it alternates a few stretches on State Road No. 13 to Chiusaforte and from Resiutta travel it to the Moggio Udine bridge.
